LEVEL I - INTRO TO OSINT

ABOUT THE COURSE


This course is part of the Atlantis Intelligence OSINT Training program. It may be taken toward completion of that certification or on a stand-alone basis. 

Objective:
To equip learners with a foundational understanding of Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) and Operational Security (OPSEC), as well as essential tools and techniques required for safe and effective investigations. This level is designed for beginners or individuals with limited prior experience in OSINT, focusing on building a strong base of practical and theoretical knowledge.


Learning Outcomes

By the end of Level I, students will be able to:

  • Understand and apply the OSINT process to real-world investigations.
  • Implement OPSEC measures to ensure safety and remain anonymous online.
  • Use advanced search techniques and tools to uncover information on the Internet.
  • Extract and analyze imagery for investigative purposes.
  • Collect and preserve online content for future analysis.
  • Navigate multilingual research environments.

Target Audience

This training level is intended for:

  • Newcomers to OSINT wishing to build a solid foundation.
  • Professionals from non-technical backgrounds (e.g., journalism, law enforcement, private investigation) looking to incorporate OSINT in their work.
